When this card is sent to the Graveyard as a result of Battle, inflict 500 points of Direct Damage to your opponent's Life Points. You can also take cards of the same name from your Deck and Special Summon them to the field in face up Attack Position. The deck is then shuffled.

Effect Monsters are brought to the field with a Normal Summons or Set, but they contain additional special magical powers that are described on each card. There are a number of different types including Flip, Continuous, Cost, Trigger and Multi trigger. The effect is applied towards the end of the Battle Phase, after Damage has been calculated.
