With this trap card, pay half of your Life Points, when your opponent either activates a Magic or Trap Card or Summons a Monster (including Special Summons) to negate the effect and destroy the Magic Card, Trap Card or Summoned Monster. Obviously it is better to use this card when your Life Points are low.

Counter Trap Cards are Set in the Magic and Trap Card Zone and can be activated at any time after the Start of the next turn, in response to the summon of Monsters or to neutralise the effects of Magic or Trap Cards. They are destroyed as soon as their effect has been activated. You cannot have more than 5 Magic and Trap Cards in the Magic and Trap Card Zone.
